This simple poem’s dedicated to my father,
A man of steel always there in case of danger
Makes his way as he enlightens the dark path here.
There’s no need to fear if the man of steel is always here.

Yesterday was a happy birthday,
But the next night made my chest tight.
For the man of steel didn’t make to stay,
As he says good bye and fades away.

Oh what an unlucky day it was,
For my father, my hero, died so fast.
If I could just see the man of steel in my dreams,
Then never wake up until the light becomes dim.
